Actress Lola Kirke attended last Sunday's eventful Golden Globes with unshaven armpits, and the Internet has gone crazy about it.

Best known as Girls star Jemima Kirke's sister and for her supporting role in Gone Girl, the 26-year-old English-born actress made a memorable red carpet impression in a stunning strapless floral pink gown that showed an ample amount of cleavage.

But that's not all she showed off.

In an unexpected move, Kirke decided not to shave her armpits and unashamedly showed off her armpit hair by occasionally raising her arms and posing with her hands on her waist.

While it's completely normal for women in some cultures to go bare haired, it was still pretty surprising to see such on a Hollywood red carpet.

It is definitely not the first time that Kirke rocked her armpit hair for a public appearance. In December 2015, she posed for Vanity Fair with unshaven armpits. Her own sister Jemima has also appeared on several red carpet events with her own armpit hair showing.

Kirke shared her red carpet look on her Instagram account along with a caption where she thanked fans who "didn't send me death threats on account of my awesome hairy armpits."
