Online retailing website GearBest has announced that the 128GB model of the Chinese brand Xiaomi Mi 5S smartphone receives a 49 percent discount from its original price tag. The Xiaomi Mi 5S now sells at $399.99 on GearBest's official website.

This promo for the 128GB variant of the Xiaomi Mi 5S smartphone is available for a limited time only. To avail this special promo, interested consumer will just need to use the coupon Mi5A4G during checkout. The phone is available in Silver, Grey, and Gold colour options.

In terms of the specifications, the Xiaomi Mi 5S smartphone features a 5.15-inch Full HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a display resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by Qualcomm's MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU for the graphics.

The Xiaomi Mi 5S comes with 128GB of internal memory storage. On the camera side, the phone sports 12-megapixels rear-facing sensor with f/2.0, phase detection, and dual-LED support. On the front is 4-megapixels sensor with f/2.0 support. Interestingly, the handset is capable of video recordings up to 2160p at 30 frames per seconds and 1080p at 120 frames per seconds.

The Xiaomi Mi 5S runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, which is paired with Xiaomi's latest MIUI 8.0 user interface laid on top of it. Fueling the phone is a non-removable 3,200 mAh capacity batter. Other features the device offers include Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac,  and 4G LTE network support. The phone measures body dimensions of 145.6 x 70.3 x 8.3 mm and weighs around 145 grams.
