An upcoming Gionee smartphone has been spotted on the website of China's telecommunication certification authority (TENAA). The device dubbed as the Gionee S10 smartphone features the latest Android 7.0 (Nougat) operating system and 4GB of RAM.

As per TENAA listing, the Gionee S10 smartphone sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display screen with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by an unknown octa-core processor clocked at a speed of 2.0 GHz paired with 4GB of RAM onboard. It comes equipped with a built-in 64GB of internal memory storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card.

On the photography department, the upcoming Gionee S10 flaunts a dual-camera setup with two 13-megapixel sensors at the back and a 16-megapixel front-facing sensor for taking selfies. As mentioned earlier, the phone will run on the latest Android 7.0 (Nougat) operating system out of the box, coupled with Gionee's latest customized user interface.

The listing also revealed that the Gionee S10 would be fueled by a 3,700 mAh capacity battery. The connectivity options of the device include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G network along with VoLTE support. According to TENAA, the smartphone will be available in Black and Gold color.

Meanwhile, Gionee launched the device's predecessor called the Gionee S9 in China last year. The phone features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels resolution and 2.5D curved glass on top. It has octa-core MediaTek MT6755 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, 13MP + 5MP dual-rear camera, 13MP front camera, 3,000mAh battery, and Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system.
