In a possible effort to veer from his weight and substance-abuse issues, Rob Kardashian has been posting cryptic messages on social media talking about his "baby mama" and "son". However, TMZ has discovered that Kardashian isn't a father.

Sources close to the reality star and brother of Kim Kardashian, shared that he has been trying to test the waters to see if the public will believe that he has really fathered a child.

In a tweet posted last Thursday, the reality star shared, "Was with my baby mama tonight," while in July, he posted, "Happy I got my Son with me for the 4th tomorrow. Can't wait to watch the fireworks with my little man ! Hope everyone is safe ! X."

Kardashian has been battling with his weight and with substance abuse for some time now. Most believe that the reason for his depression and struggles is the fact that Lamar Odom, his sister Khloe's former husband, has disappeared completely from the family's life. Odom was like an older brother and father figure to Kardashian.

The reality star had been living with his sister Khloe for a time and had grown close to Odom. The separation from Odom and its apparent effect on Rob has made Khloe feel guilty and sad over her brother's situation.

In fairly recent episodes of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," Khloe commented that she couldn't fully enjoy their family trip in Thailand because she felt guilty and worried over what was happening to her only brother, Rob.

While Khloe felt miserable, sister Kim shared that she had become exasperated with Rob because he continues to refuse to help himself.

Despite her feelings about her brother's situation, Kim has continued defending him in the media as well as with his former girlfriend, Adrienne Bailon, who has accused Rob of cheating on her when they were together.
