The Nexus 6 appeared on AT&T's online store for a few hours, showing a placeholder LG Vista with the price tag of $49.99.

If any more evidence is need to prove the Nexus 6 is real and coming soon, one can look no further than a new AT&T leak showing the Nexus 6 priced at $49.99.

The leak comes thanks to a spotter on Android Police, who managed to capture the Nexus 6 on sale, before it was quickly pulled off. This could be attributed to a timing or editing error, something that has been happening more often.

The leak, however, does not confirm anything more than that the device is coming to AT&T, and relatively soon. The whole thing looks like a placeholder, with the image of the device being the LG Vista and the URL.

Having AT&T price a high-end device at $49.99 on a two-year contract is a little odd, normally the price is either $99, $199 or $299, and if the phone doesn't sell it gets dropped to $0 on contract in order to push more buyers to the device.

That said, Nexus devices normally sit at a lower price point than most devices. The $49.99 price tag could be incentive for AT&T customers to buy the phone on contract, rather than pay $350 to $450 for the off-contract smartphone.

Hints of the Nexus 6 has been leaking all over the place this week, with notable semi-retired leaker @evleaks showing a press photo of the front yesterday. The specs for the Nexus 6 will include a 5.9-inch full HD display, quad-core processor, and 3GB of RAM.

Google is reportedly preparing an event on October 15, one day before the iPad event, to release the Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and Android L.
