It looks like Motorola and Verizon Wireless will continue their Droid partnership, despite mixed reviews on the last batch of phones, the DROID Mini, Ultra and MAXX.
The Motorola Droid Turbo will be the next iteration in the partnership, with the same red kevlar back that has become commonplace on Droid devices. We finally got a look at the smartphone, thanks to @DroidLanding.

The tweet has already been deleted, adding more truth to the rumor. Internally, the Motorola Droid Turbo looks to be an absolute performance beast, with a Snapdragon 805 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 21 MP rear camera, 3900mAh battery and will sport wireless charging.
On the front, there will be a 5.2-inch UHD (2560 x 1440) display. This will make the Motorola Droid Turbo the most powerful smartphone on the market, with a battery almost twice the size of its competitors.
The 21 MP camera is intriguing. Normally, Motorola only goes for 8 MP or 13 MP at a push. It looks like Motorola will only develop one Verizon Wireless smartphone this year,, and this will be the main flagship for the company going into 2015.
An announcement should happen on October 30, according to Droid Life. This means two indirect Motorola smartphones in the same month, if the Nexus 6 launches on October 15, like most sources are claiming.
