The Droid Turbo launch countdown is on but because a lot of Internet leaks have emerged, there isn't much we don't know about the Droid Turbo.

Verizon revealed a photo of the device and Big Red revealed its launch date.

The Motorola Droid Turbo will come with a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.7 GHz, 3,900 mAh battery capacity and 21 MP rear camera.

The device also features a turbo charging technology and Qi wireless charging support. According to Motorola, the device also hosts an almost native Android version including the Turbo screen sharing by using the Droid voice command.

It focuses on the Always-On feature unveiled with the Moto X 2013. The Droid Turbo also features 3 GB of RAM, 2K display resolution and 565 ppi pixel density and 32 GB of in-built memory.

The Droid Turbo display is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with a metalized glass fiber coat. This guarantees the screen will be dent and scruff resistant.

The device is also waterproof even without the IP67 certification. The Droid Turbo is made of Kevlar, so this means the back cover will have a smooth, bullet-proof finish.

The most remarkable feature on the Motorola Droid Turbo is the ultra-fast charging capability. The Turbo Charger comes out of the box and can pack eight hours of battery life in only 15 minutes of charging. Its full charge promises about two days of battery life.
