iOS 8 Jailbreak Release Date in October From Pangu Not Evad3rs

iPhone 6

Over one month has passed since the Apple iOS 8 was launched and rolled out to the public. While some people were satisfied with the latest iOS features, others wished they didn't upgrade at all. However, there will be more problems should they choose to downgrade to iOS 7 and Apple users just need to install the iOS 8 jailbreak instead.

The iOS 8.1 update rollout started recently and jailbreak fans are already hopeful that the upcoming iPad and iPhone unlocker will be released earlier than expected. The iOS jailbreak tool could be out as early as this month and the jailbreak community is thankful for the quick iOS 8.1 update.

The iOS 7.1 update was not released until after six months. This year's accelerated progression allows the Pangu and Evad3rs teams to finalize their jailbreak versions in a few weeks. These teams are confident that the jailbreak will continue to be in good working condition in the following months because Apple is expected to release the next major iOS 8.2 update in the late first quarter of 2015.

Team Evad3rs are still quiet about its jailbreak progress. The most recent update from the team was @MuscleNerd's reminder to avoid the iOS 8.1 update if one wants to install Evasi0n8 in the near future.

Meanwhile, Pangu advertised that the jailbreaking of the iOS 8 is already ongoing as soon as it was rolled out in September. While the Pangu team may have identified the important exploits on the iOS beta and that the creation would likely come from them, they said they cannot release it yet. It is because the iOS 8 itself is still not stable and still being worked on to match company standards.
