Gamers should be excited to hear Rockstar's latest announcement describing details on some exclusive content for those planning to pick up the new versions of "Grand Theft Auto 5" on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. 

Ever since Rockstar announced a remastered version of "GTA 5" being released to next-gen consoles, GTA enthusiasts have been wondering whether there are any incentives for switching - and Rockstar has finally answered via their official newswire.

First up on the list of exclusive content Rockstar will offer is brand new events and rewards. There will be new challenges across Los Santos for players to complete, which will unlock new vehicles like the menacing "Imponte Duke O'Death" as well as the classic Dodo seaplane used in previous GTA games.

Players will receive new weapons including a rail gun, which is reportedly a futuristic high-powered weapon that unloads rounds of explosive ammunition - as well as a Hatchet melee weapon used to hack and slash enemies up close.

Players can now participate in a new feature of stock car races. Winning a series of the races will earn players unique custom Muscle race cars with logos of companies that make them look authentic.

New game-modes for single player will be implemented as well including the Wildlife Photography Challenge and Murder Mystery.

The Wildlife Photography Challenge will be done with Franklin, as his mission is to take photos of the new species of animals scattered around Los Santos. When completed, players will unlock the special Kraken Submarine.

Michael will be completing the Murder Mystery mode, in which a player must put clues together in order to solve the murder. Upon completion, gamers will unlock two noir style filters, which turn game play into a gritty old school crime classic feel.

Additionally, fans who preorder the new version before its Nov. 18 release date will receive $1 million of in-game cash for use in story mode and GTA Online.

Rockstar also said it will release more exclusive content and surprises that players will have to discover for themselves once the game is released.
