(Photo : Tinder) Tinder, the mobile dating service, has put out some impressive stats, including that users spend 77 minutes everyday on the app.
Tinder has become one of the most successful dating services, due to its pull on the younger audience and casual way of handling potential dates.
This casual design is apparently keeping Tinder users on the service for a whopping 77 minutes every day, according to The Huffington Post. This is more than triple the average time spent by users on Instagram, and almost twice as long as the average user spends on Facebook.

What is keeping Tinder user's on the service for so long? It looks like the quick interface, which combines finding the right date with a chatting service. This mix not only keeps users endlessly swiping left or right (to confirm or deny interest) but keeps bringing them back throughout the day, to chat with their matches.
Tinder has been one of the first dating sites to attract users from all ages. It is also a much more casual experience for first time daters, compared to other platforms like OkCupid and Match.com, displaying less information and allowing a more chat-based experience.
The service is normally closed doors when it comes to numbers - there is still no reference as to how many matches become successful relationships, this could be due to the casual nature of the service not bringing many full of relationships.
Tinder currently has around 50 million users worldwide, compared to OKCupid with 12 million users, it is doing pretty well. In the U.S. it is one of the most popular apps and it has also got a large user-base in the U.K. and Brazil.
