Oppo N3 vs. OnePlus One: Features and Specs Comparison

The OnePlus One is the one the biggest success stories coming out of Android, and the company behind the phone is reportedly considering Windows Phone.

Oppo launched its N3 handsets to replace the well-received Oppo N1 and the new smartphones are expected to be out in stores in November.

Both the Oppo N3 and OnePlus One are powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Krait 400 processor but the OnePlus One is clocked at 2.5 GHz while the Oppo N3 is clocked at 2.3 GHz.

The OnePlus One comes with 3 GB of RAM while the Oppo N3 has 2 GB of RAM. Both handsets also run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat but the OnePlus One uses CyanogenMod11S while the Oppo N3 user Color v2. Notably, the OnePlus One is upgradable to Android 4.4.4.

The N3 offers 32 GB internal storage while the One is equipped with 16 GB and 64 GB internal storage options. The Oppo N3 can be expanded to a maximum of 128 GB while the OnePlus One does not have this support.

Both OnePlus One and Oppo N3 have 5.5-inch screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution but the Oppo N3 has an IPS LCD display while the OnePlus One has an LTPS LCD one.

The Oppo N3 sports a 16 megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash which is a rotating unit known as the swiveling snapper. It means that the N3 rear camera can also be used as a front camera as well.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus One houses a 13 megapixel rear camera with a 5 megapixel front one. The One comes with a Li-Po 3100 mAh battery unit while the N3 has a Li-Po 3000 mAh one.
