Samsung has been rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat updates for several months now.

Those that have received Android 4.4.2 and Android 4.4.4 updates and info on their devices should know the company will extend the updates to the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy S4 Mini Duos, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Note 2 LTE and Galaxy Note 3, to name a few.

It seems the Android 4.4.2 and 4.4.4 releases will continue for the remaining devices to prepare for the upcoming Android 5.0 Lollipop release.

According to reports, the GT-19500's Exynos version will get the Android 5.0 update first early in 2015. The Galaxy S4 will likely be designed with a TouchWiz that looks quite the same as the Lollipop early demo running TouchWiz on top of the Galaxy S5.

The devices, especially the Galaxy S4, will see a major change of interface. There is still no word about the GT-19505's Snapdragon 600 version, however.

There are reports suggesting the imminent update release across devices and carriers after a leak claimed the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update this November includes the Galaxy Note 3 LTE, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 LTE, Galaxy Note 3 Neo, Galaxy S4 Mini Duos, Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy Grand 2 Duos, Galaxy Grand 2, Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Note 2 LTE.

While Samsung Galaxy users are already keeping their eyes on the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, rumor has it that only the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 will get the upcoming Android Lollipop update soon.
