(Photo : Microsoft) Microsoft is set to announce their first Lumia device without the Nokia branding next week, bringing an end to Nokia as a smartphone manufacturer.

Reports have come out showing leaked images of the Microsoft Lumia RM-1090. The device's full specs were also recently revealed by Chinese website TENAA.

According to the leak, the low-end device will have a 5.0-inch QHD display with 960 x 540 pixels resolution, 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 chip, 1 GB of RAM, dual-SIM, 8 GB ROM, 5 MP rear camera and VGA front camera with LED flash and 1900 mAh battery unit.

The Microsoft Lumia RM-1090 dimensions are 140.2 x 72.45 x 9. 32 mm. It weighs 145.7 grams. It comes in white, black, blue, gray, green and orange.

Connectivity is limited to 3G with HSPA and GSM. The Windows Phone device will sell for about US$100 to US$150 with no service contract.

According to reports, the Microsoft Lumia RM-1090 was seen at the TENAA certification website sporting the Microsoft logo on the rear cover and above the display but, as expected, there was no Nokia logo seen anywhere.

The handset will run Windows Phone 8.1 operating system. The same handset is also said to have been cleared for U.S. FCC certification in October after being cleared for TENAA certification.

It appears that Microsoft RM-1090 is the answer to the very inexpensive Android One series. It looks to be an entry-level handset similar to the Nokia Lumia 530 and its look indicates the device is part of the Lumia line.
