The 1.18 Update for "Grand Theft Auto 5" Online is officially available for download today, but to the dismay of many GTA fans, the Heists DLC wasn't included. Instead Rockstar Games will release Heists as the next 1.19 update.
Rockstar recently confirmed that Heists is indeed coming via their official Newswire as the next update following the launch of the next-generation version of "GTA 5."

"We've got some really exciting stuff in the works to continue adding to, expanding and evolving the world of Grand Theft Auto Online - including the highly anticipated launch of Online Heists which will be available for all four consoles as the first GTA Online Update to happen after the game launches on PS4 and Xbox One," Rockstar said.
The announcement led many media outlets and YouTube tipsters to believe the next update to come after the next-gen launch would be the 1.18 update. However, Rockstar released the minor 65MB 1.18 update along with the launch of next-gen "GTA 5" today and is available for all consoles.
The update was intended to optimize systems for all consoles, but was really meant for next-gen players as the game developer fixed all issues when transferring characters, stats and vehicles from PS3/Xbox 360 to PS4/Xbox One.
Gamers hoping to receive the DLC in November will have to endure the wait a little longer. With the 1.18 update just being released, gamers can now set their sights for a release date on one of the Tuesdays next month in December.
Additionally, the Thermite bomb that was found in texture files of source code by hacker enthusiast St3v3hacker is speculated to be included with the Heists DLC. The thermite bomb is the most destructive hand grenade used by U.S. soldiers, as it produces a molten iron and intense heat of up to 4,000 degrees Fahrenheit through a chemical reaction.
This extreme heat will make thermite bombs good for destroying weapon caches, bunkers and vehicles. The weapon would also be useful when blowing the doors off safes or holes in walls in certain Heists missions.
