Rockstar Games just officially re-released "Grand Theft Auto 5" for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users on Nov. 18. But with new releases come new problems, as evident by multiple reports from gamers describing GTA Online features not working properly.

One PlayStation 4 user took to the game developer's official Rockstar Support forum recently, saying that his new GTA game won't work online at all. The user mentions that every time he attempts to play online, he receives an error message that reads, "Timed out locating session."

The user's post on the support forum received hundreds of comments from other gamers saying they're running into the same issue as well, and the post has already attracted the attention of Rockstar Games. 

The company quickly responded via its support forum titled "GTA Online Status - Latest Updates" mentioning that a patch will be implemented November 22, which aims to fix the online connection issues. 

"We are currently addressing issues with intermittent connection errors for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users. This issue will be addressed by tomorrow [November 22] with a patch for all users."

In related news, Rockstar released a minor 65 MB 1.18 update along with the launch of next-gen "GTA 5" on Nov. 18. The update was intended to optimize systems for all consoles, but was really meant for next-gen players as the game developer fixed all issues when transferring characters, stats and vehicles from PS3/Xbox 360 to PS4/Xbox One.

Additionally, Rockstar recently confirmed via their official newswire that the highly anticipated Heists DLC will come to all consoles with the next 1.19 update.

"We've got some really exciting stuff in the works to continue adding to, expanding and evolving the world of Grand Theft Auto Online - including the highly anticipated launch of Online Heists which will be available for all four consoles as the first GTA Online Update to happen after the game launches on PS4 and Xbox One," Rockstar said in the announcement.
