The Microsoft Lumia 535 is the first Microsoft Lumia and was previously announced in November. The Nokia Lumia 635, on the other hand, was unveiled in June.
It features a dual SIM model named the Lumia 630. Those interested in buying the new Lumia may want to compare the Nokia and Microsoft ones.

Both the Lumia 635 and Lumia 535 feature an IPS LCD display but the former has a 4.5-inch screen with 480 x 854 pixels and 221 ppi while the latter has a 5-inch screen with 540 x 960 pixels and 220 ppi.
The Lumia 635 has a Snapdragon 400 and Cortex A7 quad-core processor at 1.2 GHz and Adreno 305 graphics while the Lumia 535 only has a Snapdragon 200 processor with the same chipset and Adreno 302 graphics. While both handsets sport a 5 MP rear camera, the Lumia 635 does not have LED flash.
Microsoft acquired the mobile division of Nokia and rights to the Lumia brand but not its separate company, Nokia. It was understood that Microsoft will phase out the Nokia branding on its products. A new report also claims the Lumia 730 and Lumia 830 will be the last devices to bear the Nokia brand.
The report also says Microsoft will also phase out the "Phone" from Windows Phone. Notably, HTC One for Windows is one of the signs this could be true.
Microsoft sources said the company plans to make the changes effective in 2015. Lumia's official Twitter account has a post saying the Windows 10 upgrades will be available to all Lumia devices running Windows Phone 8 and higher.
Microsoft revealed many details about the Windows 10 PC version features but remained mum about its smartphone operating system.
Some reports take the official tweet that didn't mention the next Lumia OS upgrade as Windows Phone 10 or Windows 10 as a sign Microsoft is about to launch a single platform for all its devices. People, however, should be cautious because the Twitter account can't be considered a press channel.
