Meizu M1 Note Shares A Lot Of Similarities With iPhone 5C

Hiding in the shadow of Xiaomi's success sits another Apple-cloner, Meizu.
Meizu has unveiled the M1 Note for Mainland China sale earlier this week, and it looks even more like an Apple clone than other Meizu devices already do.
The similarities are puzzling, making it seem as if Meizu worked hard to make the M1 Note look identical to the iPhone 5C, even adding the same five colors.

Apple has still not released sale numbers for the iPhone 5C, but it has left an impression on Meizu at least.
There are a few small differences between the phones, the screen on the Meizu M1 Note is 5.5-inches, while the iPhone 5C features a much smaller 4-inch display.
The back of the Meizu M1 Note also features the camera in the middle, instead of in the corner on the iPhone 5C. The M1 Note also curves on the top and bottom, while the iPhone 5C maintains a rectangular look.
Overall though, it is hard to dismiss the similarities, especially since Meizu is borrowing the same press photo angles Apple used for the iPhone 5C.
Internally, it is a much different smartphone, featuring a MediaTek MT6752 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and 3G or 4G connectivity.
The Meizu M1 Note is also much cheaper than the iPhone 5C, at $233 inside China. Meizu may have problems if they bring the M1 Note to other countries outside of China.
