Actor Kevin Cheng was spotted kissing a long-haired woman at a Hong Kong nightclub on New Year's Eve.  Cheng, an eligible bachelor for nearly four years now, admitted that he did not want to be lonely and was looking for a companion.

Cheng was cautious when it came to meeting people at nightclubs, according to entertainment website Jaynestars.com. This can be attributed to the fact that he is not a regular customer in these places.

Cheng had also been very reserved in his actions.  He was trying to steer clear of people who tried to take out their phones, so that they wouldn't take his photo.

It wasn't until after a few drinks of champagne that the 45-year old actor started to loosen up. A woman with long hair started chatting with Cheng.

After 10 minutes, the two embraced and Cheng put his arm against the wall. Cheng and the long-haired woman kissed three times, it was reported.

Immediately after they kissed, the woman was heard giggling flirtatiously.

It was inevitable that the Hong Kong actor was asked about the woman he had kissed in the nightclub.

"Thanks to everyone's concern over my love life. I'm no longer young! I hope to find a companion and don't want to feel lonely," Cheng replied without hesitation.

"A celebrity is also a normal person. I have emotions and feelings, too. I hope everyone gives me more personal space," the actor added.

When grilled whether or not the woman was his girl friend, Cheng was not quite forthcoming.

"If there is good news, I will definitely announce it," he simply quipped.
