TaiG recently said that the iOS 8.3 is jailbreakable, similar to the upcoming iPhone and iPad mobile operating system updates and builds. TaiG developer XN said that he's absolutely confident of unlocking the uOS 8.3 and that he's also quite confident about unlocking future iOS releases.

XN said TaiG isn't in for the money amid rumors it was open to piracy with the Evasi0n7 jailbreak. The Evad3rs eventually made a deal with TaiG but after being heavily criticized, the Evad3rs had to drop the TaiG installer.
XN, however, said the deal was simply about cooperation and not about income or piracy. The Jailbreak's purpose is to give users more freedom. TaiG has already started working on the Mac OS X jailbreak but XN said they're still short of people so he can't specify an accurate release date yet.
Users used to wait a couple of months for iOS 7 and other previous jailbreaks but the newest iOS jailbreak has been rolling out very quickly. TaiG released a new iOS 8.1.1 jailbreak that rendered the Pangu jailbreak useless.
According to reports, TaiG can jailbreak iOS 8 to iOS 8.1.1. The tool is currently available for Windows users.
The TaiG jailbreak can be applied on the newest iDevices such as the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Mini 3 and iPad Air 2. Other compatible devices are the iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPad Mini, iPad Mini with Retina Display, iPod Touch 5th Gen, iPad Air, iPad 4 and iPad 4.
