The internet is abuzz with rumors that One Direction's Niall Horan is sexting with another male pop star.

The "Can't Say No" singer, Conor Maynard was a guest on Capital FM and dished about his friendship with the members of One Direction, especially with Niall Horan. Maynard was asked if he is still tight with the popular boy band and he replied by exposing a recent text exchange he had with Horan.

"I actually had a bit of texting thing with Niall very recently," Maynard revealed while he was backstage at the BRIT Awards 2014 nominations. "He sent me a text saying hey it's Niall this is my new number."

"So I text back saying, 'How do I know it's you? What did you whisper to me the first time we ever made love?' and I can't say what he wrote back. It was very PG! I suppose I was [sexting]. I never thought of it that way."

Conor's favorite One Direction member is probably Horan. As reported by the Mirror, Maynard was present at Horan's 21^st birthday last September and while everyone was getting drunk, Maynard was impressed at how long Horan can hold his alcohol. "I think Niall could out-drink every single one of us put together. It's the Irish. It's in their genes," he revealed on The Mirror. "At V Festival, Niall was drunk singing my songs to me. I love him."

As for him, Maynard says he couldn't keep up with the One Direction star. He says, "There was one time I got so drunk ,I was throwing up and collapsed in someone's garden."

The singer-songwriter is recently working on some new music, so perhaps he could ask Horan to collaborate with him on a few songs. Most of the One Direction members are getting involved with their own side projects, so teaming up with new artists might be a good idea to do, if ever this year ends up being One Direction's last year together.

As reported by the Inquisitr, Zayn Malik has collaborated with Naughty Boy and Harry Styles is branching out into movies. On The Daily Mail, there have been reports that Louis Tomlinson is interested in following Simon Cowell's footsteps and is trying to learn music management. The boy band's contract is only up till the end of the year, so there has been a bit of a speculation that their upcoming album will be there last.
