Former "Mean Girls" star Lindsay Lohan has a new project that is neither a film nor a documentary. She recently signed up as a TV pitchwoman for Esurance, a car insurance company.
The former child star's TV advertisement is already being shot in Long Beach, California, according to TMZ.

Esurance is a subsidiary of Allstate Insurance, which specializes in rendering online or telephonic rate quotes.
Word has gotten around that the TVC may have a spot in the upcoming Super Bowl commerical breaks.
The timing seemed to confirm this as the filming started only a few weeks before the major American Football event.
The car insurance company has a trademark of creating a highly amusing advertisements aimed at a younger crowd.
The 28-year old star fits the role fine, save for her shady driving history. In 2007, Lohan was arrested on DUI charges for driving up a median.
Later that year, another DUI came right after her short rehabilitation and she allegedly took people hostage after a wild ride in the Pacific Coast Highway in California. No specific damages were reported.
In 2010, Lohan purportedly hit a baby stroller in West Hollywood.
In 2012, the actress rammed into a car outside West Hollywood club, which was followed by another accident later that year when her Porsche rammed into a semi-truck. The truck driver is still pursuing damage claims for the latter. Lohan claimed she was running late for her Liz & Dick shoot then.
