Actress Amanda Bynes, who hit headlines last year due to her erratic behavior, is currently doing much better now that she lives away from her parents, according to Daily Mail.
"In the past few weeks, Amanda Bynes is doing so much better from where she was months ago," according to People Magazine via a close source.

"She and parents are getting along and Amanda is clear headed, more focused and has more independence," the source further added.
The source also pointed out that the judge extended Bynes' conservatorship last Tuesday, extending it until June 23 and the next court hearing.
Bynes' parents currently have the authority of controlling Byne's finances and health needs since filing the documents in court when Bynes' showed signs of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder last July 2013. Cited in court papers, Bynes' mother described her behavior as a 'substantial risk to herself, to others and to property.'
In May 2013, the Nickelodeon star was arrested on drug charges after throwing a bong pipe outside her apartment window.
In 2014, she displayed strange behavior, which caused her to get kicked out of the John F. Kennedy Airport. In New York, there were several complaints filed against Bynes such as shoplifting and scratching a woman inside the nightclub.
These consecutive events were brought upon her early release in the psychiatric facility last October 2014 after less than a month of the required treatment.
However, this year seems to be brimming with hope for the former Nickelodeon star. Bynes was seen with a female friend around West Hollywood last February 1 and she seemed to be in good spirits.
"Amanda is doing well. I am glad the arrangement is continuing. The legal process is working in Amanda's favor," says David Esquibas, the family legal representative, after attending a closed discussion among the judges in Ventura, California.
