Thanks to yet another successful drama series, "The Empress of China," which the 33-year old actress created and starred in, Fan Bing Bing is once again on the number one spot of Forbes China Celebrity 100 list.
Fan Bing Bing, who has been on the top spot of Forbes China since 2013, earned CNY128 million RMB (about US$20 million) this year and bested Taiwan's mandopop king Jay Chou, who came in second place for the CNY101.5 million (US$16 million) he made.

Due to Fan Bing Bing's eye-popping turn as a cleavage-baring empress on "The Empress of China," as well as appearing as a judge on the talent competition, "Amazing Chinese" she gained a lot of web and media exposure, which helped increase her income and top the Forbes China list.
The recently married Taiwanese singer, Jay Chou, who is behind Fan Bing Bing at number two, earned millions this year with the help of the media's coverage of his wedding, various endorsement deals and his Opus world tour.
Nicholas Tse, an actor and singer from Hong Kong, who was in the sixteenth spot on the Forbes China list last year, jumped to the third spot on account of his positively-rated cooking show on TVB, "Chef Nic" and media coverage of his reunion with Faye Wong.
Behind Tse is martial artist and Hollywood actor Jackie Chan, who took home CNY96 million (US$15 million).
Aside from Fan Bing Bing, other Hong Kong celebrities that made the Forbes China list were "Fire Storm" actor Andy Lau who was at the eighth spot and singer Eason Chan at the 10th spot.
Singer-songwriter G.E.M. Tang, who ranked ninety-one last year on the Forbes China list made the biggest jump and now sits at the eleventh spot, just one place higher than Angelababy.
Included in the Forbes China list for the very first time at number 70 is William Chan, who outdid girlfriend Charlene Choi, who is at this year's 95th spot. Though many criticized Chan and said that he is simply in the shadows of Charlene, his role in the drama "Sword of Legends" turned him into a bankable star.
As of now, Fan Bing Bing remains undefeated in the top spot of the Forbes China Celebrity 100 list for three consecutive years now.
