Square-Enix's and DeNA's free-to-play mobile game for Android phones and iPhone, "Final Fantasy Record Keeper," had an update this week. This update lets the gamers to unlock "Final Fantasy VII" female protagonist Rinoa Heartilly. "To Slay A Sorceress," is the challenge event that featured the game in the English version for the first time.

Idigital Times reported that this is a nod to the story of "Final Fantasy VII," where Rinoa is a sorceress that is in love with Squall, Leonhart, to the male protagonist. Gamers can unlock Rinoa by surviving the Classic mode of the game. On the other hand, Rinoa is just a slice of the entire event. The said event can also unlock the previous dungeons leading to the Elite, meanings, versions, with enemies that are difficult to fight; stamina cost for participating is greater than the usual and more loot to gather once the gamer complete the dungeons.

"Final Fantasy Record Keeper" website said that, so gamers could surpass the Elite version of "To Slay A Sorceress," they should be at level 40 the least. Gears should also be the best probable one can use at four stars rating, but in order to be optimal, five stars is needed. Rinoa should be in a high level before going to the Elite version of the dungeon to get the synergy bonus. The gamers could use the spells for this level, like: Holy, Ice, Blind, Stona, Esuna, and Quake. The rest of the party also needs the Break abilities so that they can do the maximum amount of damage and could withstand the taken damage.

Rinoa is a supporting character, the same with the original "Final Fantasy VIII." She has pass to Celebrity up to Rarity 2, magic up to Rarity 5. Her white magic and support could go up to Rarity 3. In "Final Fantasy Record Keeper," Rinoa can use Thrown weapons. The "Final Fantasy To Slay a Sorceress" is set for release on May 22.
