Square Enix may not Release ‘Final Fantasy 7 Remake’ This Year

"Final Fantasy VII Remake" was announced during the 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo, and since then the game has been one of the most talked about video title in the gaming community. While a lot of fans are expecting the game to hit the shelves this year, the game's developer, Square Enix, recently hinted that it may take quite a while before the game is released.
‘Final Fantasy IX’ Now Available on PC

Sixteen years after release on the original Sony PlayStation console, the critically-acclaimed video game Final Fantasy IX has finally arrived on the PC platform. The game is distributed via Valve's digital distribution platform Steam.
Mistwalker Teams up With Silicon Studios for New Video Game

Not much has been revealed regarding the current status of the "Final Fantasy" series, even its creator Hironobu Sakaguchi has been quiet about it. However, Sakaguchi's company Mistwalker announced on Feb. 22 that it is forming a partnership with Silicon Studio to develop a new title.
