Justin Bieber and Orlando Bloom have made Ibiza a place of summertime conflict, but former friends Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton have turned it into a place of reconciliation.

After running into each other in Ibiza, former socialite BFFs Kardashian and Hilton made nice and remininisced about their vacation in 2006.

Of course, Kardashian didn't miss the opportunity to post their picture on Instagram, captioning the happy photo "Reminiscing about the 1st time we went to Ibiza in 2006! @parishilton it was so good to see you & catch up!! Loves it lol"

Hours after Kardashian took to Instagram, Hilton reposted the photo and captioned it with:  "So much fun with @KimKardashian this weekend at@AmnesiaIbiza. The first time we ever came to this magical island was together. Such an amazing trip! Great catching up with you too beautiful!"

The public's first glimpse of Kardashian happened when Hilton was spotted partying with her at Hyde in 2005. A fresh-faced Kim and Hilton walked into the club while Hilton's former friend, actress Tara Reid, waited behind the velvet rope.

Hilton didn't realize that introducing Kardashian to the public was the beginning of her becoming a household name. After Kardashian's sex tape with former boyfriend, singer Ray J, went viral and her family was given a reality show because of her newfound fame, Kardashian became even more famous than her friend, Hilton.

Hilton, who also starred in her own reality show, "A Simple Life", with friend Nicole Ritchie, wasn't very happy that her former BFF was outshining her. Ah, what fame can do to a friendship!

In 2008, Paris guested in a radio show and had some nasty things to say about her former cohort. Hilton said on air that Kardashian's butt "looks like cottage cheese stuffed in a trash bag."

Apparently, sunshine and a photo op can rekindle a friendship gone awry.
