Sony Xperia C5 is rumored to be released in August.

Earlier in May, Evleaks reported that the Sony Lavender smartphone would launch in the third quarter of the year. The latest tweet from the leaker website has revealed that the smartphone will be renamed as Sony Xperia C5 Ultra and will be released next month. This will be the first smartphone from Sony that will not have the side bezels.

The upcoming Sony C5 Ultra is expected to feature 5.5-inch display screen size with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution at a pixel density of 401 ppi. The hardware segment of the device might sport 64-bit octa-core chipset clocked at 1.7GHz.

For smooth gaming performance and multitasking experience, the GPU slot will carry Mali-T760 chip assisted by 2GB of RAM. The internal storage will have 16GB available space and storage capacity can be expanded up to 128GB with external microSD card, as per GSM Arena.

The camera department will probably the strongest part of the device with 13MP rear camera and 13MP front camera sensor. The phone will have a dual SIM facility and will carry Android 5.0 operating system.

Sony Xperia C5 Ultra is expected to support 4G LTE network. The Sony official has not confirmed the price of the device but rumors indicate that the price will revolve between $280 to $300.

The earlier version of Xperia C4 was released in June, according to Mobi Picker. The phone sports IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen on 5.5-inch screen with 1,080 x 1920 pixels resolution (~401 ppi pixel density) and 71.7 percent screen to body ratio. The device has Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 color compensation system.

The rear camera segment is same as the C5 but the front camera is 5MP, which was later replaced by 13MP sensor in Xperia C5. The battery backup has 2,600mAh Li-Ion capacity that provides up to 634h (2G) and up to 682h (3g) standby time.

Black, mint and white color options were available, and according to TechRadar, after the successful launching of Xperia C4, its successor will hit the market at the later part of August. It is speculated that the first bezel-less designed Sony Xperia C5 smartphone will be firmly comfortable for single hand operation.
