Popular South Korean actor Kim Soon Hyun got to kiss all the three leading actors of "The Producers"--Gong Hyo Jin, IU and Cha Tae Hyun. He spoke about his and Tae Hyun's kiss scene in an interview on SohuTV's "Korean Entertainment."     

Soo Hyun, 27, played the role of a rookie PD, Baek Seung Chan, of a variety program, while Tae Hyun, 39, played senior PD and Seung Chan's boss, Ra Joo Mo. Speaking about his reaction when he first read about the kiss in the script, the actor said, as quoted by Soompi, "I felt pressure in having to act drunk because it's [basically] acting out a completely different character," adding, he was nervous "mentally and physically" when he saw that there was a kissing scene on top of acting like a drunk.

After the kissing scene was shot, Soo Hyun said that he said sorry to the senior actor. He told Tae Hyun, "I'm sorry. That happened without my intention."

Meanwhile, Soo Hyun, who enjoys a mega-star status not only in his home country but also in China, is set to star in Korean movie "Real." The actor, however, is reportedly struggling to find a leading actress for the film.  It was reported previously that auditions are being held to find two actresses who will play important roles in the movie. The producers have failed to find the two actresses after the first round of audition, and now the audition dates have been extended till August 7.   

"The female lead for 'Real' has not been chosen yet," Soompi quoted the production company as saying. "Individuals can participate in auditions through online submissions." The actresses who are unfamiliar with this process can "upload their profile and audition through the homepage."

Soo Hyun is playing a merciless, ambitious character in this movie, far removed from the innocent, upright characters he has played in his television dramas. The production on "Real" is set to begin in October, and the film is expected to hit the theatres in the second half of 2016.     

The actor recently hit the headlines because of his half-sister, Kim Joo Na, who made her singing debut in an episode of Korean drama "High Society." The sister, through her rep., claimed that she was close to Soo Hyun and they grew up together, and the actor never mentioned her because of complicated family situation. Soo Hyun's agency was quick to deny, though confirming that Joo Na is Soo Hyun's half-sister.
