New update for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" have been revealed regarding New Game Plus mode for the gaming platforms and CD Projekt RED no longer making anymore PC mods.
According to Gamerant, "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" has recently received a Modkit from its developers CD Projekt RED as they explained that this kit is not an editor but for people who are already experienced in moddling software and designed to create mods easier.

CD Projekt RED further adds that PC modders will be able to change the UI assets and script files wiithin "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" explaining that he majority of its gameplay mechanics are within the script.
However, PC Gamer pointed that although gamers are free to change anything in the ModKit, it is severely limited as it only allowed players to have cosmetic changes to characters and even their equipment, but it is not as impressive as the powerful REDKit from the previous Witcher games.
WCCFTech previously reported that the 1.08.1 patch for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" PC version has been released as the latest patch contained several hot fixes and ModKit, although it will be downloaded seperately from the Nexus Mod.
Gaming fans recalled their frustrations on CD Projekt RED CEO Marcin Irwinski announcement of having a REDKit mod for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," sometime after the game's launch. The REDKit was a popular among modders in "The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings" and it is still growing strong in the moddling community until now.
"Witcher 3" community head Marcin Momot tweeted that at this point CD Projekt RED will no longer have plans of launching more mod updates very soon.
@MeerMusik This is the mod support for the Wild Hunt. At this moment we are not planning to release anything else.

IGN further adds that gamers that has lower level will have a sudden boost at level 30 already once they have started the New Game Plus and a Clearing potion in order to reset their previous skills.
Quest items, trophies, books and letters, food and Gwent cards will not be present in their inventory during new session and players are free to choose their desired difficulty level to challenge themselves again.
