For BoA, the time to fulfill one of her dreams is now. According to the Queen of K-Pop, it has been her childhood dream to take the center stage at the famous Sejong Center for Performing Arts, and that just came true when she held her two-day 15th anniversary concert entitled "Nowness" on Aug. 22 and 23.

"When I was young, I saw H.O.T. perform at the Sejong Center for Performing Arts on TV. While watching them, I wondered when I would be able to debut and perform on a stage like that, and now I've finally fulfilled my dream in 2015," Soompi quoted the 28-year-old pop diva.
Fulfilling that dream also led her to another feat: being the first female K-Pop singer to hold a concert at the esteemed venue. With its decades of cultural significance, Sejong is deemed to be a tough venue to break into for pop singers.
"I am honored to be celebrating the last of my 20s at such a meaningful place," BoA shared during a pre-concert press conference on Sunday. She further noted that the prestige of holding her anniversary concert at Sejong will be an additional motivation for her career.
Among the songs that she performed were "No. 1," "Only One," "Atlantis Girl," and her self-composed 2015 single "Kiss My Lips." After her concert, she extended her gratitude to her staff through social media. In one post, she acknowledged her concert crew with a photo and a caption that read, "I'm always so thankful, my precious staff. We've safely and successfully finished this concert too! Everyone worked so hard! Let's get together again. #Nowness," All KPop quoted BoA.
Meanwhile, the singer also expressed her appreciation of her supporters with a post that read, "It was a concert that was possible because of all of you. . . I was [sic] really grateful. . . I received such an immense gift. I'll become a singer that you can continue your life with. . . I love you."
BoA made her debut on Aug. 25, 2000, two years after being discovered by SM Entertainment talent scouts when she accompanied her brother at a dance audition. Her 15th anniversary concert was her first live performance after her last showcase two years and seven months prior.
