New Boyband DAY6 Releases Music Video for ‘Congratulations’ and Mini-Album [VIDEO]

The long wait is over for DAY6 fans as the newest and hottest Korean boyband has released the music video for their first single "Congratulations" along with their mini-album "The Day."

The hottest boygroup consists of six talented musicians namely Sung Jin on main vocals and acoustic guitar; Jae on electric guitar, vocals, and rap; Young K on bass guitar, vocals, and rap; Jun Hyeok on vocals and keyboards; Won Pil on synth and vocals; and Do Woon on drums.



JYP Entertainment is applying the same success formula it had with Wonder Girls in this boyband. It looks like the group is definitely headed for stardom.

DAY6 released a teaser video a few days earlier and spoilers of their mini-album content. The group's tracklist include "Freely" (literal translation), "Strangely Continuing This Way" (literal translation), "Congratulations," "It Became A Habit" (literal translation), "Like The Sun" (literal translation), and "Colors."

The teaser video stars Choi Woo Shik and Jang Hee Ryung. Choi is seen on a subway all melancholic. He then sees his former love and her new beau. He then goes down a torturous memory lane with all their happy moments together. The video gives fans a sneak peek of the band's amazing talent as they rocking out their instruments.

The group was initially known as 5LIVE but with the addition of a new member they changed their name DAY6.

Labelmate miss A's Suzy also shared her support to DAY6 on her Instagram account.

The single "Congratulations" is the collaboration of the band and JYP's producer Hong Ji Sang, Lee Yoo Min, and collapsedone.
