Indiana Pacers forward Paul George isn't blaming Team USA for the injury he sustained in practice a couple of weeks ago, staying positive as he continues to recover.
George spoke at a news conference on Friday, the first time he spoke to reporters since the injury.
"I plan on making a full recovery coming back from this," George stated. "I'm taking this in a positive way. I get to sit back and watch the game -- and just learn."

George suffered a lower right leg fracture when he tried to block a shot on a fast break. The 24-year-old All-Star rammed into a basketball stanchion, injuring his leg. He underwent surgery Aug.2 and was back home in Indianapolis on Aug. 5.
Despite what happened, George maintained that Team USA shouldn't be blamed for the accident.
He said he was looking forward to represent the country in the 2016 Olympics to be held in Brazil.
George's injury led to questions about the support being too close on the court. It also sparked a debate whether NBA start are putting too much on the line to represent the country.
The timeframe for recovery is not yet clear, but Larry Bird, Pacers' president of basketball operations, mentioned that the physicians who are in charge ofGeorge's rehabilitation is positive that a late-season return is possible.
George stressed that the time he being away from the Pacers made him feel guilty. He wanted to be with the team for the start of the season.
Opinions from other doctors, who did not examined George, says that the estimated timeline could take 12 to 18 months for this kind of injury.
George recorded a new career high average of 21.7 points per game for the 2013-2014 season.
