Mozilla, a non-profit organization, once relied on tech giant Google for all of its revenue. Recently, Mozilla reveal that it is not receiving even a single cent from Google.
According to CNet, Mozilla is making enough revenue to sustain its operation and ensure that it does not rely on the millions of dollars once provided by Google.

It appears that a majority of Mozilla's income come from traffic-related revenue as well as fixed payments of search-related income, according to Bidness ETC.
Mozilla reveal that it has struck several new deals with other search engines and this accounts for a portion of its revenue. Statistics show that a majority of Mozilla's $330 million revenue in 2014 came from Google.
The Mountain View-based company, which is now a subsidiary of the bigger parent company Alphabet Inc., continues to diversify its services. This means that Mozilla needs to rely on dedicated search engines in order to continue its business.
Reports indicate that Mozilla ceased tapping Google's aid at the end of 2014.
Mozilla chief business and legal office Denelle Dixon-Thayer said in a statement, "We don't have a commercial relationship with Google at this point. It goes back to our strategy of how we can encourage more competition."
Many tech analysts are expecting Mozilla to focus more on the mobile platform as the current market demands. The online world has slowly shifted from desktop internet to the mobile platform which is now dominated by companies like Google, Facebook and Apple.
Google and Mozilla were once tight-knitted allies in the virtual world. The duo managed to topple the dominance of Internet Explorer in the Internet browser market with their Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox brands. The duo has also raised the bar in terms of online activities like blogging, social networking, e-commerce, communication and news publishing.
