PlayStation 4 Versus Xbox One; Which Console Has the Best Holiday Deal

(Photo : Reuters) For many market and tech experts, the PlayStation 4 is the runaway winner this year in terms of market share. However, Microsoft announced on Wednesday that is it offering $50 off on the Xbox One which can turn the tide into its favor during the holiday season.
The arrival of the holiday season means it is the best time of the year to purchase or upgrade gaming consoles due to the array of choices of sales and perks. The console market is currently dominated by PlayStation and Xbox and the holiday season means that the two titans will no doubt offer sale packages.

As of this writing, the standard models of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One start at $299.
PlayStation 4
On the side of Sony, there are two very interesting bundles for $299; the "Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection" Bundle and the "Star Wars: Battlefront" Bundle.
For gamers looking for prominent titles bundled with the console, there is the "Destiny: The Taken King" bundle for $399. A "Star Wars: Battlefront" Deluxe Bundle for $399 and "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" Bundle is also available.
For games, the PlayStation Store is offering quite a list of titles on discount. Among the most interesting titles are "Grand Theft Auto V" for $40.19, "Journey" for $11.99 and "The Telltale Games Collection" for $55. The full list of games is posted on the official PlayStation blog.
Xbox One
For the Xbox One, $299 bundles include the "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition" Bundle and the "The Lego Movie Videogame" Bundle. For fans of the "Gears of War" franchise, those who purchase the Xbox One "Gears of War" bundle will be receive exclusive access to the "Gears of War 4" multiplayer beta set to be released in 2016, according to Forbes.
For the $349 price border, the following bundles are available; "Rise of the Tomb Raider" Bundle, "Fallout 4" Bundle, "FIFA 16" Bundle and the "Madden NFL 16" Bundle.
