The latest "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 spoilers confirmed that Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) will get back together in episode 10, "The Earworm Reverberation."

After a short two-week hiatus, a new episode airs tonight on CBS. In the last episode, fans saw Sheldon and Amy went on a friendly date to an aquarium for Thanksgiving. Although there are moments where it got painfully awkward, this helped Amy realize that she still has feelings for Sheldon. She even called him after the date to ask if he wanted to get back together.

The phone call was a pleasant surprise especially to Shamy fans who are still rooting for the couple. Unfortunately, Sheldon turned Amy down. He explained that getting over her was one of the hardest things he has ever done and said that he just wanted to be friends with her.

This came as a shock given how Sheldon has been trying to get her back. At one point, he even got her an engagement ring.

According to the International Business Times, episode 10 will once again focus on Sheldon and Amy. In the promo, it was confirmed that the couple are finally back together, not only that but for the first time, the two will consummate their relationship. For her birthday, Sheldon revealed that he asked Amy to have coitus with her. The trailer also ended with Shamy having a romantic kiss by the apartment.
