After hints about the death of Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), viewers are worried that they won't see her again on Arrow. The Arrow season 4 midseason finale ended with Felicity getting a severe injury. The midseason premiere promotional trailer was first released and it shows Oliver (Stephen Amell) at a cemetery. However, there are rumors that Felicity may not really be dead and that someone else could be in the grave.

There is hope for fans as it is speculated that Felicity may in fact become the Oracle. Black Canary and Huntress are in place now and only the Oracle is needed to complete the female vigilantes league. Marc Guggenheim suggested that the code name of Felicity will be revealed on season 4, episode 11 and the code name will have the letter A in it.

Reports indicate that since Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), also known as the Flash was present, it could be that the character at the cemetery is present in an Arrow/The Flash crossover episode. The person in the grave could also be very important to the city because of the elaborate funeral and Oliver's resolve to forsake his vow not to kill. "Now I know it's not my fault, it's my responsibility, to end it I am going to kill him," said Oliver's voice in the clip.

While it could be Felicity, Arrow is also notorious about hinting at the death of characters in promotional materials only to reveal a different person's death. The grave might belong to Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), John Diggle (David Ramsey), Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) and Thea Queen (Willa Holland) - but none of them meet all the aforementioned criteria. It could be Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), as rumors indicate that the clip occurs after Team Arrow and Oliver kills the villain and recalls the horrors Darhk brought. It could also be a different character altogether.
