Google Defaults HTML5 with Chrome 55 Update

In May, Google said that the company is planning to make HTML5 the default tool in its Chrome Internet browser instead of Flash. Google is staying true to its plan with the latest of Chrome 55 update which completes the transition from Flash to HTML5.
Adobe Releases Patch to Fix Known Zero-Day Flash Player Exploit

Trend Micro recently reported an unscheduled patch released for the Adobe Flash Player that fixes a zero-day vulnerability hidden deep on the software’s code. The patch covers versions 23.0.0.195 and older versions of the Flash Player before Oct. 11 for both Windows and Macintosh platforms, and covers versions 11.2.202.637 and older for the Linux platform.

Tech giant Google has announced that its flagship Internet browser Google Chrome will phase out its support for Adobe's Flash Player by the fourth quarter of this year. This move is part of Google's strategy to promote HTML5 and provide users with a more streamlined experience when using Chrome.

The Arrow season 4 midseason finale ended with Felicity getting a severe injury. The midseason premiere promotional trailer was first released and it shows Oliver (Stephen Amell) at a cemetery. However, there are rumors that Felicity may not really be dead and that someone else could be in the grave.

On Monday evening, Adobe issued an online statement effectively telling its Flash developers to use the HTML 5 instead. This admission simply confirms the growing popularity of HTML 5 over its product.
