Xiaomi's latest 64GB Mi Pad 2 tablet sold out in China in just a minute, according to the company.

Xiaomi has already marked its leadership in the Chinese mobile telecommunication industry, and now the company is back in the limelight with its newly released Mi Pad 2 (64GB) featuring Windows 10 operating system.

Xiaomi revealed that its new Mi Pad 2 sold out in less than a minute after it was made available for purchase.  Xiaomi also reported that the demand for the company's new Windows 10 tablet is getting high and keeps on increasing.  According to the company, the Mi Pad 2 (16GB) Android model also sold out on the same day, which means the demand is not only favorable to the 64GB variant of the Mi Pad 2.

Xiaomi's 64GB variant of the Mi Pad 2 sports a 7.9-inch screen with 2048x1536 displays. The tablet is 7mm thick and weighs 322 grams. It is powered by a Quad-core 2.24 GHz Intel Atom X5-Z8500 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The tablet also comes with built-in 64GB internal storage.

Mi Pad 2 is fitted with two cameras featuring an 8MP in rear camera with f/2.0 sensor capabilities and 5MP in the front cam. The tablet features a reversible USB Type-C port and is powered by a 6,190 mAh battery. Lastly, the 64GB Mi Pad 2 features the Windows 10 operating system.

Xiaomi's Mi Pad 2 has a similar display with its predecessor, but with additional upgrades underneath which make it a worthwhile to buy. What makes the Mi Pad 2 standout from the previous model is the presence of a standalone Windows 10 operating system. This was made possible after Xiaomi entered a partnership with Microsoft to offer an official Windows 10 ROM for users of the Mi 4 Smartphone.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi has not confirmed when this device would become available in another part of Asia.
