ZTE Launches Blade D Lux Android Smartphone for $173

Chinese Smartphone manufacturer ZTE has officially unveiled its Blade D Lux for the price of $173. This is the company's latest mid-range smartphone in the "Blade" series.
ZTE Blade D Lux Smartphone features a 5.5-inch screen with 720p touch-screen display. It has a 720x1280 pixel resolution paired with a 2.5 D Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. The device supports a dual SIMCARD slot and will be running on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

The handset is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 360 GPU. It sports a 2GB of RAM memory and has a built-in 16GB internal storage that is expandable up to 64GB with a microSD card.
The Blade D Lux handset features a 13-megapixel main rear-facing camera with an LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing "selfie" shooter. The device also supports 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and micro-USB. It is fueled by a 3000mAh battery, which is more than enough to last for a day.
Currently, the device is available in Singapore and Vietnam for the price of ₫3,890,00 VND and $239 SGD. This device will be sold by the M1 carrier in Singapore. For now, the Blade D Lux Smartphone only comes in one colour - white.
For those who are not familiar with the ZTE Blade Smartphone series, it has three earlier models called the Blade X3, Blade X5 and Blade X9. These devices were revealed last year in the month of November.
Meanwhile, the Chinese company also launched the Blade A1 in China last month. The Blade A1 Smartphone is the predecessor of the Blade D Lux, and has similar specs with the handset. The Blade A1 features a 5-inch display that is powered by a 1.3GHz 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6735 processor. It comes with a smaller batter capacity of 2800mAh.
