The Diavolol side is said to have agree to a $15 million transfer fee.
The Italian football club will make a $7 million profit from the move and Luis Adriano will be earning about $7 million per season plus $3 million in performance-related bonuses.
Adriano was Milan's leading scorer after Carlos Bacca in all competition this season. He will be the latest Brazil international to shift course to China.
Among current and former Brazil internationals to move to the Asian nation in recent months is the midfielder Diego Tardelli who transferred to the Shandong Luneng.
The 2015 Brazilian Championships best player Renato Augusto qlwo accepted an $11 million transfer offer from Beijing Guoan of the Chinese Super League.
In December last year, midfielder Jadson moved to China on a $5.4 million deal from Tianjin Songjiang, a second tier club. The club also secured Luis Fabiano from Sao Paulo in the same month.
Jiangsu Suning has been very busy in the transfer market and seems to be prepared to spend lots of money. The wealthy football side currently participates in the Chinese Super League, the highest tier of professional football in China. The club is based in Nanjing, Jiangsu and finished ninth in the 2015 season under former Genoa defender Dan Petrescu.
Jiangsu Suning FC is the same club that had an offer for Sampdoria forward Eder. But the player turned down the deal that would have earned him over $5 million per season. Suning is the same outfit that is reportedly keen on signing Roma's Ivorian striker Gervinho and Inter Milan Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin.
