Football Transfer Rumors: Jiangsu Suning Offers $21 Million per Season to Oscar Cardozo of Trabzonspor

Trabzonspor Paraguayan forward Oscar Cardozo is being linked with a move to cash-rich Chinese outfit Jiangsu Suning of the Chinese Super League amid reports of a possible move to Premier League sides Everton and Norwich City.

According to Transfer Market Web, the Asian big-time spender Jiangsu Suning is looking to offer the Kaplanlar player a confounding $21 million a season on a three year contract. However, Cardozo is yet to be convinced about shifting his football career to China.

Known for his powerful left-foot shot and free-kick skills, Cardozo gained fame while playing for the Primera Division side Newell's Old Boys in Argentina. He later moved to Benfica to participate in the Premeira Liga in Portugal in 2007.

During his spell with the Aguias, Cardozo netted nearly 200 official goals and won eight major titles, including the 2010 national championship. In the 2013-14 season of the top flight of Portuguese football, Cardozo was the domestic treble.

In the third quarter of year 2014, the Paraguayan professional football player moved to Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor.

The high profile international forward gained more than 45 caps for his country, appearing at the 2007 Copa America and the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He was 2006 Paraguayan Footballer of the Year.

Norwich City and Everton are reportedly showing interest in the South American star.

According to Sports Witness, Premier League clubs are monitoring the situation with the Trabzonspor forward as they look to fortify their line-ups this transfer window.

The Canaries, who returned to the Premiere League just in 2015, need to bring in players to help them stabilize their spot in the country's primary football competition.

The Toffees, who are based in Liverpool, are still looking to push for a place in Europe next season.

Jiangsu Suning currently participates in the Chinese Super League and is based in Nanjing, Jiangsu. The outfit has been very involved in the transfer market enticing African and South American talents. They finished ninth in the 2015 season campaign under former Genoa defender Dan Petrescu.
