Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad has launched its latest Coolpad Porto S and Torino S smartphones in the European market. Unveiled last month, both handsets support 4G LTE connectivity.

The Coolpad Porto S is expected to be available later this month in Switzerland and Germany, with a price tag of about $145, while the Coolpad Torino S is currently available for around $223.

Over the next few months, these phones will hit others markets in Europe.

The Coolpad Torino S weighs about 120 grams and measures 139 x 67.8 x 7.9 mm in dimensions. It is currently available in white and Champagne colors.

This device features a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display screen with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It supports dual-SIM functionality and comes with the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system pre-installed, along with the Cool UI 8.0. The Torino S comes with an 8 megapixel camera on the back and a 5 megapixel camera on the front.

Under the hood, it packs a Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in memory storage (expandable up to 32GB only via microSD card), and a 1,800 mAh battery. Other specs include a rear-facing fingerprint scanner and an IR sensor.

The Porto S, on the other hand, weighs about 125 grams and measures 143 x 72 x 7.6 mm. It will be available in white only.

Specs-wise, the Porto S sports a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display screen with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution as well, running on the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with the Cool OS UI 8.0. It has an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing shooter.

Inside, this phone comes with Mediatek's MT6735P chipset, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory (expandable up to 64GB via microSD card), a larger 2,000 mAh battery, and support for dual-SIM functionality.

Earlier this month, the Chinese company revealed that it sold over 30,000 Coolpad Nite 3 Lite smartphones on Amazon in just 21 seconds.
