Stephen Curry had another amazing game, scoring a team-high 35 points with 9 assists and 6 rebounds.
It was the 42nd consecutive regular-season home game victory for the Golden State. The club is 24-0 at Oracle Arena this season. The reigning NBA champions are just two victories at home away from matching the Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls' NBA-record home winning streak of 44 games from March 30, 1995 to April 4, 1996.
"We can definitely play better and just sustain our level of play and be more consistent over 48 minutes. It's hard," Curry said. "As long as you keep that at the forefront and challenge yourselves, that's what hopefully us inspires to continue to get better. It's not going to be pretty every minute we're out there, it's not going to be perfect, we're not going to blow everybody out. But we strive to be great every night."
Harrison Barnes and Marreese Speights finished the night by scoring 19 points and 15 points respectively, while Klay Thompson and Andrew Bogut chipped in 13 points apiece with Andrew Bogut grabbing 11 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 assist and a season-high 6 shot blocks.
The Warriors have their longest unbeaten run against the Rockets in the series since also winning eight in a row from Dec. 5, 1972 to Nov. 26, 1974. Golden State have gone 3-0 versus Houston to sweep the Rockets in consecutive seasons for the first time.
James Harden led all scorers with 37 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Trevor Ariza added 19 points, while Dwight Howard and Marcus Thornton contributed 16 points and 15 points respectively, with Howard grabbing a game-high 15 rebounds.
It was the fourth loss of the Rockets in six games on road.
