The 2012 NBA draft 39th overall pick finished the game with a game-high 27 points to go along with 9 assists, 6 rebounds and 5 steals. Scoring 14 points and dishing out five assists in the final quarter to do more damage to the Wizards.

"Yeah, we look at Khris as our best player, our best scorer," Buck's forward Jabari Parker, who dropped 17 points during the game, said. "He opens up a lot of areas for us, and we're going to depend on him."

A product of Texas A&M University Aggies, the 24-year-old Middleton has averaged 17.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4 assists in 36.1 minutes per game in the 54 games that the Bucks have played this season. He shoots 43 percent from the field and has an 87.3 percent shooting accuracy from the foul line. He signed a US$70 million five-year contract last July with Milwaukee.

Greek forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and Greg Monroe chipped in 17 and 12 points for the victors.

Washington' hotshot John Wall played with a sore right knee following a first quarter collision with Milwaukee's O.J. Mayo. He still managed to register a double-double performance of 15 points and 10 assists with 4 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 shot blocks.

Bradley Beal scored a team-high 19 points, while Otto Porter, Marcin Gortart and Nene all contributed 14 points for the Wizards, who have gone 3-7 in their last 10 games played.

The Bucks will be hosting Charlotte Hornets on February 19 and the Utah Jazz will be visiting the Washington Wizards on February 18.
