HTC One M9 vs HTC One M10: Features and Specs Comparison

The HTC One M10 release date falls on May 9 in the United States. Here is a features and specifications comparison of the HTC One M9 and the upcoming HTC One M10 to help you decide whether to upgrade your phone or not.
When it comes to processor and storage, the HTC One M10 is going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset or a MediaTek one. Its predecessor has a Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor. The HTC One M9 comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of in-built storage which is expandable to up to 200 GB. Meanwhile, the upcmong M10 will have with an Adreno 530 GPU under the hood for graphics and 4 GB of RAM. The new handset may possibly offer 32 GB of in-built storage as well.

The HTC One M9 came with Android 5.0 Lollipop, and it would soon receive the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Meanwhile, the HTC One M10 is expected to be released with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and HTC Sense on top.
The HTC One M10 could sport a 12 MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, laser autofocus, face detection and 5 MP UltraPixel front camera. Its predecessor has a better 20 MP rear camera with autofocus and dual-tone LED flash. In terms of batteries, the HTC One M10 could come with one which is better or just the same as the One M9's 1840 mAh battery capacity. Either way, it would be a massive battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
The HTC One M9 sports a 5-inch Full HD screen and recent reports claim that the new HTC One M10 (also known as HTC Perfume) will feature a 5.2-inch WQHD display. The latter is also said to come with a new design - a slim, all-metal unibody with IP68 certified water and dust proof chassis. According to reports, the HTC One M10 will look and feel similar to the well-received HTC One A9 rather than its predecessor.
OEMs usually unveil their flagship devices at the Mobile World Congress, but rumor has it that HTC will skip announcing the HTC One M10 at the MWC 2016. According to speculations, HTC will hold an event in April and release the handset in May. The price is still unknown, but the upcoming HTC flagship smartphone is expected to cost around $550 to $650.
