Stephen Curry dropped a three-pointer for the 128th consecutive game, surpassing the 127 mark of Atlanta Hawks' Kyle Korver to set a new NBA record after matching the latter's record on Wednesday in their game against the Miami Heat.
Curry finished the night with 51 big points, including 10 treys from beyond the arc while shooting 20 for 27 from the field in 34.02 minutes of playing time. He led the Warriors to their 52nd victory in 57 games played this season.
"I don't know that the record is that significant because it's so simple for him. His 3-point shot is like a 2-point shot. It's what he does," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. "It's to the point where we expect a half-court shot. ... It's a rhythm shot, and it just went in."
Marreese Speights added 14 points, while Draymond Green and Andrew Bogut contributed 12 points apiece for the Warriors, who are currently 28-5 on road and on a three-game winning streak.
Harrison Barnes chipped in 10 points, while the other half of the Dub's Splash Brothers Klay Thompson scored nine points only.
The game was pretty close during the first three quarters as the Warriors led only by an eight-point lead 99-91 going in to the final twelve minutes of regulation time. During the fourth quarter, Golden States started to pull away and stretched their lead to a double figure and put up a 31-23 run.
Evan Fournier led Orlando with a team-high 20 points, while Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic added 19 points and 17 points respectively.
The Magic suffered their 31st loss in 56 games played and registered the team's 15th defeat in 30 games played at home this season.
