NBA Recap: Boston Celtics Defeat Milwaukee Bucks, Register 9th Consecutive Victory at Home

Eastern Conference third best team Boston Celtics triumphed over the visiting Milwaukee Bucks with a 112-107 win at the TD Garden on Thursday night.
All-Star guard Isaiah Thomas led the seventeen-time NBA champion ballclub Boston Celtics with a game-high 27 points, including eight in the final period of the rubber match, to their ninth straight home victory this season.

Thomas drove and at the last second flipped a pass behind his head to Crowder in the corner, who promptly drilled 3-pointer in the dying seconds of the game to stretch their lead to seven points 109-102 with 50.9 second left to play.
Thomas, who is currently the 13th leading scorer of the league averaging 21.6 points a game, went 10 for 21 in the field and had seven assists and two steals in 33.09 minutes of playing time.
Jae Crowder, who shot 8-of-10 from the field and connected two treys out of his three attempts from the three-point area, finished the game with 20 points, eight boards and two assists. Avery Bradley and Amir Johnson chipped in 18 points and 15 points respectively.
Boston ended the first half with a ten-point lead 62-52 as both teams went in to their respective locker rooms. In the third quarter, the Celtics still managed to produce 26 points to widen the gap to 15-point margin with 88-73 going in to the final quarter of the match.
Milwaukee was able to cut the deficit to just five with just over six minutes to play, but Celtics retaliated with a 10-4 run to widen its lead to eleven points 106-95. The Bucks scored five straight points to cut the lead within four 106-102 before the awesome pass by Thomas to Crowder.
Jabari Parker led the Bucks with 22 points and added five assists. Khris Middleton scored 21 points and dished out six assists, and Greg Monroe finished the night with 20 points coming off the bench.
