The device is also said to come with 16 GB or 32 GB internal storage, aluminum zero-gap construction and front stereo speakers, measuring 8.91 x 5.98 x 0.31 inches and weighing 418 grams.

The smartphone with model number HTC 0P81000 comes with several names including Nexus 9, Nexus 8, HTC T1, HTC Flounder and HTC Volantis.

Android Headlines said people will find the Nexus 5 is the only device available at the Google Play Store and that the Nexus 10 and Nexus 7 are both out of stock. Stores often run out of models to welcome new releases and new stocks.

Design and Trend also reported that a Google Shamu device appeared in the benchmark listing, which in turn showed the following specs: 5.2-inch Quad-HD display with 1440x2560 pixels and 2.7GHz or exactly 2649MHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor with 3 GB RAM and Adreno 420 GPU.

Some reports also said Motorola Shamu is part of Google's Silver Android program and may not be the Nexus 8 or Nexus 9.
