The defending champions Golden State Warriors continued their home game supremacy by smashing the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder with a 121-106 victory at the Oracle Arena on Thursday night to be in the same league as Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls.

Stephen Curry beat all the scorers with a 33-point performance, after missing a game due to an ankle injury, to lead the Warriors to their 44th consecutive regular-season triumphs at home and matched a National Basketball Association record.

"That's an amazing accomplishment," Curry, who went 12 for 25 from the field and connected 5 of 15 from the three-point range, said. "It's a compliment to us as a team, our coaching staff and obviously our fans who bring that atmosphere every night to give us the ultimate home-court advantage."

The Eastern Conference Central Division team Chicago Bulls won 44 consecutive home games from March 30, 1995, until April 4, 1996 - setting a record with 72 wins in the 1995-96 season. The Warriors stand a chance to beat this record after defeating the Thunder for the third time in as many tries this season.

"You can't even dream that stuff up," Golden State head coach Steve Kerr, who was a part of that record holder Chicago squad, said. "It's been that kind of season for us."

Starting guard Klay Thompson finished the night with 21 points while shooting 10 for 19 from the floor and only made 1 of 7 from beyond the arc. Harrison Barnes and Draymond Green added 14 points each for Golden State, who are on a seven-game winning streak.

Shaun Livingston put up 11 points, eight assists and toughed the defense on Kevin Durant, who led the Thunder with near triple-double game production of 32 points, 10 boards and 9 assists, off the bench and Mareesse Speights chipped in 10 points.

The Thunder ended the third quarter leading with a point 83-82. The final period was a close match until the Warrior managed to build up a 12-point lead 109-97 with 3:26 left to play.
