Several handsets are not included in the list. The Lumia 925, Lumia 1020, Lumia 530 and Lumia 630 may be part of the second batch of devices which will get the Windows 10 Mobile update soon although Microsoft made it clear that a lot of older devices will not get the upgrade but without impact on customer experience.

To upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile, owners are required to install the Windows 10 Upgrade Advisor from the Windows Store and launch it to check for the Windows 10 Mobile update availability. Users need to tick the Enable Windows 10 Upgrade checkbox and click Next. They need to click Done once they see a Ready to Upgrade prompt. Lastly, the user needs to check for the Windows 10 Mobile update in Settings > Phone Update and upon availability, there will be an installation alert.
